Once you’ve gotten into one of the main search areas your pages will look similar to this, with a left hand search tool and a main section with some of the most pertinent sites in the Favorite Links section.

Let’s look at this left hand search tool – it’s the main way to move around once you’ve left the Home Page. Don’t get discouraged by all the different parameters here. It's actually best to keep your search broad, this way you’ll find sites you may not have thought to search for.

There are hundreds of countries, more than 10 thematic areas, five different constituency groups, and six resource types you can search through. If you don’t want sites in English look through the hundreds of languages we code for. Perhaps you are looking for something more specific, in this case you should use the Keyword search – it will find all instances of the word or phrase in the title of the site and description of the site.

What if you just want country info? Well let's look at the section in the middle of the page, “Go to a country page in Africa,” and scroll down to a small country that MSU does a lot of work with…Malawi…then hit “Go There.”
